Define a port 4 IDocs

Former Member

Hello,

I have one problem, i've created destination type "L" with the name INTERNAL and with the destination NONE.

In the next step I need to define a data port, which is referenced by the IDoc sending mechanism to send the IDoc through. I would like to declare a port trough trans. WE21

but when i try to create new port i pick Transactional RFC and generate port name. as a RFC destination there is no INTERNAL nor NONE destinations in the list...i see a lot of other RFC Destinations but not these...

Please Help!

P.S. I could post u the whole Example Of Exercise if u would like, so u can help me that way...

Thanks a million!

Hi,

Use destination type '3' (R/3 Connection) or 'T' (TCP/IP Connection) for the destination.

Thank you 4 that, but i would like to make a simulation of sending IDocs back to sending client.... so i would use"L" (Logical Destination)

would u like me to give you an Example? so u can see is it possible...

I think you must use dest. type 3.

You must use de logical system in partner profile WE20 in partner type LS.

best regards

Hi Maja

Use the destination type 3.

The partner type in partner profile WE20 should be logical system LS.
