Why Application logs do not get created in ECC for FIORI application ?

Hi,

For one of the FIORI application (Time sheet entry), I dont see any application logs getting created in ECC system though I can see error logs getting created. Is there any setting which needs to be enabled for this ?

/IWBEP/APPS_LOG

/IWBEP/VIEW_LOG

/IWFND/APPS_LOG

/IWFND/VIEW_LOG

The above mentioned t-codes when run in ECC system show zero records.

Set Security Level

To configure the security levels for the Error Log, proceed as follows:

  1. Run transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG in an SAP Gateway hub system or /IWBEP/ERROR_LOG in an SAP Business Suite backend system.
  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Error Log Next navigation step Global Configuration End of the navigation path. A dialog box is displayed in which you can change the security level. The setting you make here is effective for all users of the current SAP client and is valid until any future changes are made.

Thanks for the response. The link which you sent tells about configuring error logs.

But my problem is with applications logs and not error logs. Error logs are getting generated,..but I cant see any app logs when I run below t-codes in ECC system.

Have you tried running the transactions on the front end gateway system?
