Crystal Server - Scheduled report with File Event, when select Run Now stays in Pending state ?

I have a report scheduled with a Recurrence of "Daily" and with a File Event. This works fine. However, if I select "Run Now" the report instance goes into "pending" and stays there. The Event cannot be re-triggered because multiple reports are based on the event.

How can I do a "Run Now" for a scheduled report with a file Event?
