How to use the fields "sales order" and "sales order item" in the ticket? (in C4C)

Hello,

I'm not sure how to use the fields "Sales Order" and "Sales Order Item" in the ticket in C4C. These fields are available in the ticket - overview - additional information and are not editable.

If I'm in the editing mode I cannot maintain these fields., although I can see through the adaption mode that these fields aren't read-only...don't know why?

I would like to explore how I perhaps can use these fields for ERP integration.

Hello Deborah,

These fields are available to associate sales orders to tickets. In cases, where tickets are created out of sales orders, these fields can be used to link them.

so that are standard fields that will just be filled in the scenario if sales orders in C4C are used, right?
