Hi,

well, there's just one thing you can do about it: Upgrade to NW2004s. Ramp-Up has finished now, so there it is.

Web Dnypro ABAP is not available in releases prior to NW2004s, even though parts of the functionality might have been visible before.

    Regards, Heidi

    • I'm not sure what a "NETCHILD downloaded 2004s" is, but did you check the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name)? Have you disabled friendly error messages in IE? This can be done from Tools->Internet Options->Advanced-> then uncheck Show friendly HTTP error messages.

Return the page and see if you get a more detailed error message screen. You also might check transaction ST22 and see if running the page is producing any short dumps.

Also how are you launching the Web Dynpro application? From SE80 or SICF? If not are you using the correct HTTP port in the URL?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply Thomas.

I'm not sure how to check the FQDN I am checking as per the documentation. I have you disabled friendly error messages in IE.

I dont get any short dump.

I am launching the Web Dynpro application from SE80.

Can you please let me know how to check FQDN.

    regards,

    Bala

    Hi,

I am trying to execute the webdynpro now i am gettnig a short dump as below

The exception 'CX_FQDN' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierarchy.

Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'CX_FQDN=======================CP' has to be terminated.

Kindly let me know what should i do now.

    regards,

    Bala
