Hello Experts.
I am in BPC 10.1 , CPMBPC 810 0009
I had a Model in QAs and I transported it to PRD, I have the exact model in PRD and in QA. To import transactional Data to the model I use a Data manager that has the process chain CPMB/LOAD_INFOPROV_UI - Load Transactional Data From InfroProvider UI.
It work perfectly in DEV. But when I run the Data Manager in PRD it never ends. I even try to import little amoun of data (12 records) but it takes forever and do nothing.
Any ideas what could be happening??'
Hi,
Since the validation has been passed successfully, I hope it isn't a issue with Data Manager or with the Transformation file.
Just check/troubleshoot with the following and check if it helps,
1.Light Compress the cube and check again.
2.Wait until a data manager to be completed and check its stats in UJSTAT and check if any stats can help in debugging further.
3. Take the help of DBA and ask if the indexes/stats are similar to that of QA or not.If not, change the current to the optimized level.
Also is the issue seen only with Load infoprovider package or with all the other packages?
Regards,
Harsha

Hello Harsha Jalakam,
Thank you very much for the post. The issue on the Source was fixed, now the problem is that the load gets complete after around 14 hours, when in DEV it takes 1 hr. I have a similar cube in PRD where I load the same amount of data and takes also 1 hr. It is just for one model that we have the issue. I'll chec the indexes/ stat with the DBA buc I already Light Compressed the cube, and problem is the same.
Regards.
Please check your transformation file in PROD etc...
Anyway you have provided very little info to help you...

Hello Vadim,
I am checking everything and it seems that the Source InfoProvider has some issues. Bc I checked everything, Tranformation files, CoverFiles, tested in DEV the same scenario, with lots of data, etc. The responsible for the InfoProvider will check it try to load the info to BPC again.

Can you test data load on a medium dataset?
