I have a bex report with the characteristic as product and key figures as plan, actuals. i have created variance using a formulae. I have created an exception for variance with positive values given green colour, negative value given red colours, and 0 as yellow colour, I want to have the report in such a way that the exception colours for variance apply to the actual and i do not have variance coloumn in the final report

Hide 'Variance' column.

Hi,

You can achieve this in a workbook. I am trying out some other logic in BEx, will get back to you if succeeded.

Hi Raj,

You can write code for macro putting you logic without variance column. A macro would let you to give colors based on the condition. Macro is not a difficult task. Just check if you have anyone who know VB. It will work out. Hope this helps you.....

AVR,

without using VB or macro we should be able to do directly in BEX itself.
