Error Msg: "No routine for InfoObject"

Hello Friends,

I have created an ODS. After activating the ODS, Update Rules and the InfoSource, I included 0RECORDMODE in the InfoSource and activated the InfoSource.

Then I included another InfoObject (ZMYDEPT) into the ODS. In the Update Rules I mapped this newly added InfoObject to the Master Data Attr of another InfoObject (ZMYEMP). Now if I try to activate the update rule it says that "No routine has been created for InfoObject ZMYDEPT (data field: BW Delta Process: Update mode)". I even tried creating a routine for ZMYDEPT InfoObject. But still it gives me the message. Please assist.

Hi,

I had this same problem and resolved it

delete the update rule and recreate it, your problem will be resolved.

Note: Make sure you have the copu of all the abap codes.

Hi..

As u said u have activated the infosource after adding the infoobject 0RECORDMODE.

Try to re activate the update rules.

Hi Premanand,

For info object ZMYDEPT give 'no update' in update rules and try activating the update rules . See if you get any error message . If there is no error message then now try assging the update type Master data attribute to ZMYDEPT in update rules. Also see that your communication structure is active .

Thanks for your prompt reply

I tried setting ZMYDEPT to Initial Value and then activating the Update rule, but the problem still persists The InfoSource and COmmunication Structure are both active.
