why the profile number is not updated in usr04 in 750

Hi,

I create a new user in su01 in 750, and assign some role/profile to it.

However when I query usr04, I find the column NRPRO shows 0. but in 740 it shows the correct number.

I query this table in my application to get the number of profile/authorization that assigned to them. so it is block in 750.

Is this a bug in 750 or change design?

Thanks

Phoebe

Because the data model changed. USR04 is obsolete. Several other tables are obsolete at different release levels as well...

-> Use APIs!

Hello Julius,

What APIs do you refer?

Thanks and regards.

Hi Phoebe

Check out this archived post https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3894281

Information about table USR04 is mentioned and refers to becoming a "header" table. Sorry I don't have access to a 750 release to have a look at the table.

Regards

Colleen
