outgoing mail from BW BEx Broadcaster

Hello,

Is it necessary to set up an RFC connection in SM59 if there's a need to send mails to external mail adresses (f.ex. nisse@hotmail.com) from the BEx broadcaster?

Or is setup in only SCOT necessary?

How should this be done?

The documents you sent give no instruction regarding handling of the BASIS-related settings in SCOT and SM59...

I'm curious whether it's necessary to set up an RFC connection to an SMTP server...?

You have to define the email addresses in the user master data in su01,try this.
