Former Member

Hi All,

I have installed Sol Man 3.2 and CRM 5.0,both on Windows and SQL.

Now I want to monitor CRM from Solution Manager.

I know that I have to configure Landscape in Sol Man and some other configurations in CRM server.

But I do not know hwere to start and what to do?

I would really appreciate if someone can guide me.

Hi Ragu,

Thanks for the help.

I have done the steps as suggested by you.

From SMSY,I have generated RFC and all are working fine now.

The list of RFC generated:

SM_C50CLNT001_LOGIN Generierte Destination

SM_C50CLNT001_READ Generierte Destination

SM_C50CLNT001_TMW Generierte Destination

SM_C50CLNT001_TRUSTED Generierte Destination

Also from SMSY only,a RFC connection is created in CRM to Solution Manager, which is :

SM_SOLCLNT000_BACK

Al are working fine now.

Please do let me know the further steps.I would really appreciate your help.

Hi Vikas,

Congrats. Good work done.

Now you define your scope. What you want to do?

You create project and monitor them, assign role for each of your team.

You create solution in your solution landscape to monitor a separate business process.

Just define what you want to do. To create a project you need to go to <b>solar_project_admin</b>.

You can create config guide, business blue print, test plans and so on.

Feel free to revert back.

Hi,

It is as simple as that, to start with.

1. Create RFC destinations <b>SM59</b>.

2. Add CRM to your System landscape <b>SMSY</b>.

3. Generate RFC Destination in Solution Manager <b>SMSY</b>.

This is to begin with, then all you need to do will be quite a list but can be done not a big deal. Feel free to revert back..

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Vikas,

what have you done so far ?

Have you add the SAP CRM 5.0 to SolMan in TA SMSY ?

Have you generated RFCs to the CRM system ?

Have you assigned the RFCs to the monitoring infrastructure ?

Have you assigned the system to a log. component ?

Have you created a solution ?

As you can see there are many questions.

You can find answers in SAP Service Marketplace

alias: rkt-solman. There you can find iTutors which explain each single question.

On top you can look in the IMG in Solution Manger. There you can additional information.
