status bar for interapplication navigation

Hi all

I am involved in developing Inter application navigation.That is navigating between two webdynpro applications. But its taking about 30 seconds to navigate from one application to another application. So I want to know is the any way I can display status message/status bar before navigating.

help please.help will be appreciated and I promise to award points for right solution.Thank you in advance.

Why does it take so long at all? Is the time spent in the startup of the target application?

I would investigate that first.

because i am navigating from second application to first application I am getting delayed about more than 15 seconds to display view of first(my target) application.

Any ideas please.

Hi Heidi , Thank you for your message.I have not used that UI element.All I want is to disply some messages or some status/progress bar before displaying a view of another application
