Doubt regarding P.O QUANTITY

Hi ,I have doubt

WHEN WOULD BE THE CLOSED P.O QUANTITY WOULD BE LESS THAN THE REQUISTION QUANTITY BECAUSE THE P.O IS BEING CREATED BASED ON REQUISTION QUANTITY RIGHT?

pLEASE CLARIFY THIS.As iam very much confused and stuck at this point.

Hi Suchitra,

1) A PO can be created with referance to a Purch REquisition and can also be created without any referance.

When the PO is created without the referance to a PR, the quantities may be different.

2) If the PO has been created with referance to a PR, and later the the PO is changed using me22 again due to some reason, then such situations may occur.
