Hi,

We have a scenario,

Java Web application (SOAP adapter) to R/3(RFC adapter).

The scenario works fine. But the messages can not be seen in Integration Engine monitor(<b>SXI_MONITOR</b>).

We r able to see the error messages only in <b>SXI_MONITOR</b>.

Please help.

-Naveen.

Hi Naveen,

plz increase trace and logging: transaction SXMB_ADM / Configuration of Integration Engine / specific Configuration / RUNTIME LOGGING = 1 and RUNTIME TRACE_LEVEL = 3.

Regards,

Udo

Naveen,

Increasing the persist duration might not be an ideal solution..!Instead try archiving messages..!

Hi guys,

The problem can be fixed if you set the category RUNTIME parameter LOGGING_SYNC value 1 on sxmb_adm > integration engine configuration > specific configuration.

The reason is that integration engine monitor doesn't persist sync messages.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ricardo.

Hi naveen,

<i>The scenario works fine

We r able to see the error messages only in SXI_MONITOR.</i>

Are you able to see, chequred flag in the Moni ? If not What is the error? Are you getting any error in the Message Monitoring/Adapter monitoring?

Moorthy,

We r able to see <b>only</b> error messages in IE monitoring (sxi_monitor).

I did not check the RWB. The testing is going in qual server and dont have access to that.

If i have more details, I will let u know.

Moorthy,

As I already told, the scenario works fine. The only thing is that if we want to track the message, we dont see the request and the response in IE monitoring.

PS: We can see them in DEV but not in QA.

Naveen,

Are you able to see the messages in SXMB_MONI for other interfaces ? If you are not able to see any messages, then Probably, your SAPGUI problem and some settings. Try to install SAP GUI once again..

Not sure what is the problem.

Anyway before this, just check with any other's system with SXMB_MONI...and check for this

Moorthy,

The IE configuration should be done by

SXMB_ADM > IE configuration> Specific Configuration>

We had to change defualt values of parameter(Persist_duration) of the current configuration.

Udo Martens,

Thank you very much for ur answer.

By default, the message monitoring doesn't trace synchronous messages. Try changing that.
