R/3 PR closed --> SC status needs to be changed

Hello all,

Landscape: SRM 4.0 ,R/3 4.7

technical scenario : Classic

Created shopping cart in EBP.

Approved.

PR created in R/3.

Due to some reason this PR was closed (tick in the 'closed' button in 'quantities/dates' tabstrip for R/3 PR item level).

I want to show this status of' R/3 PR closed 'to my SRM requestor in his SC check status.

Help please.

Alternatively, If this SC is going in 'completed' status for the above condition ,that also will help.

Hello Dinesh,

I don't know if this case is taken into account by report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 (I don't think so because the goal of BBP_GET_STATUS_2, in case of R/3 PR creation, is to update the SRM SC will follow-on PO doc flow).

If not you would have to complete it to interprete R/3 PR status and close SRM SC accordingly.

But it's not clear to me.

Are you saying that I should modify the report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 so that it can interprete the R/3 PR status and close SRM SC accordigly.

Please ellaborate.

and give steps if possible.

If the standard does not cover this PR case, then complete it by custom developpement or create a Developement Request.

If you don't want to change the std code, you can copy the BBP_GET_STATUS_2 into a ZBBP_GET_STATUS_2, and add your own logic.

Hi Christophe,

I am with Dinesh....A few days ago this case was working fine...The SC's for whch the PR was closed went in the list of Completed SC's....but now this is not working...so just wanted confirmation form you on this whether the Std covered this case through the report BBP_GET_STATUS_2.

Also if we do need to change the std code..whci section of code would we need to change????Please your suggestions would be of great help.

Hi Dinesh & Disha,

If you tell me that is was working before, then this case is covered by the standard, and you don't need to change the BBP_GET_STATUS_2.

I can not confirm anything on this special case, because I don't know all the details of this report.

You should debug the run of BBP_GET_STATUS_2 for this particular PR.

This will:

- first validate if this case is covered or not

- if not, point you on the section to be modified

- if yes, analyze why the SC is not closed
