Hello,
can someone please explain, in Bex reports What is the conditional means when i suppress the result rows or when i suppress hierarchy nodes? Where do i define the condition?
Thank you,
David
hi,
when u select conditional, what happens is the result row will be displayed only when u have more than one record for a particular characteristic. If u have only one record then its reduntant to show the result row, in that case the resukt row wont be displayed.
so in short, checking "Conditional" will tell Bex to display the result row only when there are more than one records.
Hope i am clear, get back to me if not.

Hi David ,
Do you mean the option Suppress Result rows "With Only One value" in BEx? .
Suppress Result rows "With Only One value" means that only the result rows are suppressed that aggregate only one value i.e the value and the result are identical and the result row repeats the same value.

Prakash.
