Hi All,

I am developing a dashboard using SAP Design Studio 1.6SP2 where I have two data sources - universe and BEx.

Relational Universe Data:

BEx Data:

I would like to show the output in Design Studio as below:

I have created a OLAP Universe on the BEx query and I would like to merge this with the relational universe.Could anyone please suggest how this is achievable in Information Design Tool? Or the best way to achieve this.

The version I am using is SAP BO 4.2 SP3.

Thanks

Poojitha

If you are looking at universe level then option is to go with Multisource universe.

Create relational connection on BW DSO/Cube/Multi provider and then join tables in Data Foundation.

Hi Amit,

As of now I have one universe on relational connection which is the main universe and the other universe on OLAP connection to connect to BEx query.

Are you asking me to create a relational connection to connect to BEx query?

Could you please explain the steps to merge both the universes?

Thanks.

you need to create multi-source universe (IDT tool)to join these two sources.

Yes you need to create relation connection but this would be on BW Multi-provider.You can not connection to BEx query.
