New license or new installation for J2EE Preview?

Hi,

I am pretty sure that somebody must have asked this already - but I did not find a post:

The license for my WebAS Java neak Preview has expired. When I went to the SAP training they told us that it will be possible to get a new key as soon as the old one is expired. Of course this involves human interaction.

Anyway, does anyone know how and where to do this? Or was it a wrong information and my only choice is a reinstallation?

But as I read this page, this is only for obtaining licenses for the MINISAP ABAP WebAS. Or did I misunderstand sth?

for WebAS Java neak Preview , you need to reinstall, no license renewal mechanism is available at this moment. (i remember reading it here on SDN but dont remember the link exactly, i could be wrong , please conrrect me if i am wrong)

Anyway, if you have a license key you are able to install the "real" key into the proview. Just an info for those of you facing the same problem.

the location where i found the info that there is no license renewal is

<extract drive>:/extract folder/start.htm - license link.

(where you extrancted the rars)

I am facing the same issue: license expired for my Java Sneak Preview.

well, I can simply reinstall everything, but what about the contents of my MAXDB database?

Will all portal setup be rolled back to the installation defaults? What about all Iviews I made?
