Absence - triggering event not created

We are on 6.4 and I need to trigger a workflow when an absence request is created.

The problem I am having is that when an Absence request is created the workflow is no longer triggered. When I look at transaction SWEL there is no event for Absence in the trace. This worked a few days ago when we tested.

Does anyone have any idea as to what could have cause this?

I had a look at the HR event linkages and all seems to be fine.

HI,

This is a SAP Standard Event and should be created when they capture a leave request using transaction PA61 or PA30.

It used to work before and I have not made any changes but I am not sure if maybe here was a patch or something applied that could have caused this and don't know where to look for the problem.
