output layouts

Is there any possibility on bps side to show the user how the things after execution of bps functions the data is.As per my knowledge the only way is Bex.And in the manual planning layout can we have formulas in excel sheet and can save that macros .give me some idea .

    Hi Sekhar,

    As a consultant you would be able to see the changes based on the function execution using the Trace mode. From a user perspective the same could be viewed in the layout or a BEx query.

    In the manual planning layout, you could use the two standard exits SAPAfterDataPut and SAPBeforeDataGet to write whatever logic you need. You could also write formulas and use the same if the layout is not dynamic in nature.

    i did nt understand abt SAPAfterDataPut and SAPBeforeDataGet can you please explain me.or can send some documents regarding manual layouts input and out put where to write codes and how to save and use those layouts with formulaes.
