ML not allocated

Dear colleagues,

for our client we have implemented ML and actual costing.

The client is starting up it's manufacturing lines. During the startup they are testing the manufacturing lines to get them qualified for commercial use.

During this testphase we are creating manufacturing orders, but none of these manufacturingorders will be delivered into inventory. E.g every unit will be fully scrapped and eventually the order will be settled to a cost center instead of the material.

As a result, the components issued to this manufacturing orders receive a 'non allocating' line in the material ledger CKM3N report as there is no multi level material (Finished good) to allocate the single level (purchasing) price difference.

We have read note 908776, which confirms the 'not allocated' difference due to no goods receipt has taken place. The note does not describe however, how to deal with the 'non allocated' price difference. The difference remains in the price difference account and client wants to have this resolved.

Is it possible to allocate the 'non-allocated' price differences to the cost center that was used during manufacturing order settlement ? Or is there an alternative solution?
