Total spend report based on EKBE

Hello experts!

We currently are building a report based on EKBE table and would like to get the total amount spend per plant.

So far we have based our logic by:

- filtering record with "VGABE"='1' (Goods receipts) and "BEWTP"='E'

- summing “DMBTR" for records with "SHKZG" = 'S'

- and substracting sum of “DMBTR" for records with "SHKZG" = 'H'

The total amount seems to high compared to what we are expecting, do you see any flaw in this logic? The report should be based only on EKBE, we cannot use data from other EK* tables.

I guess the major flaw is using just EKBE table... Is there any problem with simply looking at the data in your system and checking if some transactions are accounted for incorrectly? I'm quite confused what is expected from SCN here... We have no knowledge of your system or business process.
