SCA import fails in Transport Manager

Hi - I'm in the process of configuring the NWDI in NW2004s and have come across the following problem:

When I try to import the required SCAs (SAP J2EE ENGINE 7.00 SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.00 DI BUILD TOOL 7.00) in the transport manager (having placed the files SAPBUILDT06_0.SCA, and SAPJ2EE06_0.SCA, SAPJTECHS06_1.SCA in the "inbox" & checked them in) the import seems to go into a loop and never gets past the "import running" status.

Some info:

(1) The make.log for the import contains no information

(2) The repository-import log ends with the result "not needed"

(3)When I import the SC into the NWDI any created DCs won't compile because - surprise surprise - required libraries are not present. The libraries are listed in the SC but have no content

(4)I have a request stuck in the CBS queue with state "queued" and type "init_compartment". I can't get rid of it (all buttons are disabled) even when I log in as the owner of the request.

Are the files I'm trying to import the correct ones? Despite their names the release is listed as "7.00" after check-in.

Thanks, Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Have you followed the post installation guide. I know there is none available for NW04s, however you can try following the steps mentioned in the earlier one or please follow this link.

Hi Sidharth,

thanks! I had omitted to set "idelStart" to false. I guess I can't expect my request queue to clear when the CBS isn't even started properly.
