Missing master data in 0COSTELMNT?

Dear BWers,

i have a situation where i am missing records in master data for 0COSTELMNT in DevBW. Strange enough i see complete master data in QBW for 0COSTELMNT. When i check the infopackages for attr and texts in both the systems, i see less number of records in DBW than QBW. What could be the reason? Please suggest?

Please check your source if it has all the records..Is it same for both systems..

Also make sure you have run the attribute change run ..

I have checked in RSA3 (in R/3) and found records that did not load in BW. I have also run the attribute change run in BW. Also i would like to know how to check the total number of records available in R/3 for say 0COSTELMENT? Thanks for the timely help.

DBW and QBW has different source system right ?

check in source system table CSKB for 0costelmnt attribute (datasource _attr) ? and table T77KB for text ?

with rsa3 you can try put a big number in Data Records / Call and execute.

Genarally in Dev source stystem is different than QA source system so obiously you can't compare number of records from Dev to QA if you do definitely numbers won't match.

Hi Raj,

It is very possible that you do not have the complete data set in the development system. Q systems are generally refreshed from the Production system and that gets you good data. You can try running the datasource in RSA3 (in the source system) to further confirm that there are fewer data records.
