Double click on the task.

In the next screen, you can unlock the objects by selecting them and clicking on the UNLOCK button on the application tool bar.

Then, come back and delete the task.

Deepthi,

Is this object locked by some other user using 'Editor lock' in ABAP workbench? Or you just need to remove the object from task?

If it is latter, you ensure that previous version of object is same as current version .Click on the object in SE10 and click on the 'delete' icon. You can only remove the object if the task is assigned to your id..

Deepthi,

Probably you are talking about the information message you get while deleting an object from a transport. That's just an info message, so if you really sure to delete the object from the transport, go ahead and delete it. It won't prevent you from ding that.

Hi Deepthi,

You can go to t/code SE01/SE10 and click on display button. Find the lock objects and click on delete button from top menu. Then click on check mark and click on yes button.

The lock object will be deleted from transport request.

Hope this will help.

Hi everyone

Iam using 4.6c

when i select a task and go display object list it shows the objects

PgmID Obj Object name ObjStatus

R3TR TABL ZTEST1 LOCKED

this is how it looks and i don't have any icon saying unlock etc...

please let me know

Thanks in advance

If you don't have a unlock icon then you are not the owner of the tr. request. You need to be the owner of the task to modify the tr. request.

Did you execute the prog = RSWBO099 and give your request # and unlock the objects . Then go to SE09/se10...

One more concern , you haven’t release the request yet ?

You can’t delete the object if request been released..

Hi Deepthi,

Before deleting tasks, you need to delete the objects within the task.

Procedure :

If you want to delete the locked objects, expand the hierarchicaldisplay until you can see the object list. Position the cursor on theobject and choose Delete.

You can then delete the request/task.

When you are deleting the object, system will throw a message saying object is blocked and Delete entry from object list?. Click Yes, it will delete the object and then you can proceed to delete the request.

Cheers,

Vikram
