New ABAP Editor

Hi all,

i've just installed the SAP NetWeaver 04s ABAP and it works

However I was not able to activate the new ABAP Editor. Is there any way to activate it ?

Or should I install the ABAP Editor Control that has been described in this blog /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2005/08/03/new-abap-editor-too-good-to-wait-for

In SE38, click from the main menu, Utitlies, Settings. Under the ABAP editor tab, then under the Editor Tab, there should be a radiobutton for the New ABAP editor. Make sure this is marked. Also update your SAP Gui to 6.40 with the lastest patch.

Hi Boris,

What SAPGUi 640 PL level do you have ?

Please make sure you have at least PL11 (but better go with the latest).
