How to upload data from Excel file to a codelist created in ByDesign SDK?

Hi,

We have created a new extension code-list/drop down field in SDK for ByDesign customer invoice. However, our customers want to maintain 1000s of records in each code-list/drop downs, which keeps changing often. Manually updating the data in code-list via SDK is very time consuming.

What is the best solution we can provide the customer so that they can update/maintain the code-list/drop down data themselves? I tried a file upload solution but unable to update the data using file upload. Any help would be highly appreciated!

Dear Deepthi,

As far as I know, there is no such thing in SDK to upload code list values.

And if your code list might be changing in the future, my suggestion is to use a custom business object and an OVS instead of a code list. (If not yet Go-Live)

It will be very easy to maintain and much more flexible.
