Is it recommended to go for CAD desktop or to go for Individual connectors for CAD integration for AutoCAD,Inventer,Solid Works,Solid Edge etc ?

Hi Rahul,

You can't use the CAD Desktop with out the CAD integration. As explained by P. You can use the CAD integration without the CAD Desktop This can only be done if you don't want to use 3D models. If your are going to use 3D models you need to use the CAD desktop and the CAD integrator.

I believe you haven't understood the SAP CAD Integration Architecture. Actually, you need both - CAD Desktop and the connectors / CAD Interface for AutoCAD, Inventor etc...

and select the CAD System you are looking for.
