Error in PO?

Hi ,

I am getting the following error while creating the PO:

Item initiated by other applic. (acct. assgt. category cannot be changed)

Message no. ME459

How do I solve the error?

The item category comes blank in the PO, but it shows Item category as 1 in the PR.

When I try to Put itemcategory as 1 (Manually), then also it gives the same error.

Please help.

Hi

Probably you're trying to create a PO from another document or you're use a wrong order type.

Welcome Kanwar,

Why won't you keep a watchpoint on sy-msgno = 459 and try to debug the reason behing?
