Budget link in SC and PO to be removed

Former Member

Hi al,

I need to remove the budget link from the SC step 3 that is "Complete and Order" tab side by "approval Preview" link.

Also I need to remove the Budget link from the Change or display Purchase order.

Is there any BADI for it? I am trying with Screen variant but not getting any one for this specific screen.

Has anybody came across this problem.

Kind regards,

smita

Hello Smita,

this can be controled with the authorization object BBP_BUDGET (authorization for budget display).

Two possible values in PFCG:

03 For the overview display (via RFC from the CO system)

28 For the detail display (via BW report)

So modify needed profiles with PFCG to delete those authorizations, and the budget link will be removed.

Thanks Christophe,

It works. I did 2 things

1. Deactivate in Authorization 'Authorization for Budget Display'

and also

2. In personalization tab, click on object BBP_USER_BUDGET - and make validity as deactivated.

Full points to you

Hi Disha,

For the First step use Tcode PFCG and deactivate the authorization for budget. You will have to do it for SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER, and SAP_EC_BBP_OP_PURCHASER role. Go to Authorization tab and change Authorization data. Under BBP_COMPONENT you will find Budget object deactivate it by clicking delete button. Also after doing all this make sure you regenerate the Role.

Other one use SU01 and deactivate the authorization for Budget object. Double click on the Object key BBP_USER_BUDGET, make value as 33:Deactivate.

You are done with it.

Let me know if you need more explanation.

Has Anyone been able to hide the Budget display via Authorization object instead of Template Changes for the SAP_EC_BBP_EMPLOYEE ROLE.

I dont believe there is a BBP_BUDGET authorization object for this role.

Hi sachin,

There does exist a OBJECT KEY "BBP_USER_BUDGET" under PESRONALISATION tab in tcode PFCG for the role "SAP_EC_BBP_OP_PURCHASER".

If you wnat i can fwd you the doc which Smita has prepared for these settings.

HI Sachin

IN PFCG for both the roles ie

1 SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER

2 SAP_EC_BBP_OP_PURCHASER

We have to remove the display tick in tab Authorisation --> Display Authorization Data -->BBP Component -->Authorization for Budget Display --> Activity

The same tick is to be removed from both the roles mentioned above,

Hi,

BBP_BUDGET is also in role sap_ec_bbp_purchaser.

Hi Sachin,

this is exactly the proposed solution: use the std authorization object BBP_BUDGET to hide the Budget display.

This has been designed especially for this !!!

But if you don't believe it, then I can not do anything for you... )

If this object is not in your role, then nothing is displayed. Just add it.

i think it is available since SRM 3.0.

HI Smita

Can you check this by removing the link.

1 Go to Budget link page right click and find out the template starting with BBPSC01

2 Go to SE80 and find out the relevent template and comment the Budget link.I might start with <Href:---->

This href refers to hyper link.

There is also a badi BB_DOc_SC_UI which is used for user Interface. But I am not sure whether this can be used for budget link. We have used the above badi to remove the "Describe Requirment" link in SC.
