How to have multi select in drop down box?

Hi All, I am creating a web app and in one of the drop down box I want to do multi select. Like a list object and user can select multiple values using CTRL button. Do we have this option in web designer. We are using the BW 3.5. Thanks

    Hi

    By default BW does not give any option to select multiple entries from dropdownbox.

    Puneet,

    You dont have to manually enter the values.

    You can change the code in WAD as mentioned below,

    <select name="filter1" size="10" multiple>

    <object>

    <param name="OWNER" value="SAP_BW"/>

    <param name="CMD" value="GET_ITEM"/>

    <param name="NAME" value="DROPDOWNBOX_1"/>

    <param name="ITEM_CLASS" value="CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_FILTER_DDOWN"/>

    <param name="DATA_PROVIDER" value="DATAPROVIDER_1"/>

    <param name="GENERATE_CAPTION" value=""/>

    <param name="IOBJNM" value="ZMCOUNTRY"/>

    <param name="BOOKED_VALUES" value="Q"/>

    <param name="ONLY_VALUES" value="X"/>

    ITEM: DROPDOWNBOX_1

    </object>

    </select>

    Add <select name="filter1" size="10" multiple> before dropdown object and </select> tag after dropdown object.

    This will aloow user to select multiple values in dropdown box.

    Regards

      Hi, I am not sure if I should start my own thread, because I am looking for something quite similar. Basically I am looking for the same as the original poster, except for the fact that we are using BW 7, not 3.5, and when trying to apply the solutions suggested before, I have been unsuccessful (until now, no data is shown on the dropbox). How can we do this in BW 7?
