ICE Package and hidden files

Hi all,

I am creating an offline ICE package that contains hidden files (set to hidden via the file's metadata properties), however, these files are not contained in the ICE package (fullupdate.zip).

The only way that i can think of including them into the package is by unhiding the file then re-hiding them via a recursive function.

Is there a setting that make the ICE package include hidden files?

Cheers,

Vic

    Hi Vic,

the ICE services uses the Content Exchange Crawler (KM Configuration -> Content Management -> Global Services -> Crawler Parameters -> Content Exchange Crawler) for getting the resources that have to be included in the ICE package.

By setting a hidden parameter you can archive that the hidden resources are also crawled. Unfortunately you can not set this parameter in KM Configuration, so I have sent you a configarchive you only need to import in your portal and create the package again.

    Hope this helps,

    Robert
