Activate Change Document Maintenance Plan / Work Orders - SAP Performance

Hi Experts,

Please I have a question, I want to activate change document for Maintenane Plan and Work Orders. We are sharing the same SAP PROD system between different Companies so my question is how can I justify that this change will not have any impact on performance? How can we ensure this won't affect performance? Your insights are invaluable.
