How to copy one client from A to B( different database platform)

Dear everyone:

I want to copy one client from host A (Oracle database) to B host( Sqlserver),How can it get that ?use the tool of EXPORT and IMPORT of scc7/8?

Anyone advice me?

Hi,

If you only want to copy a client (meaning without client independent objects etc.) you can indeed use the client export / import SCC8/SCC7.

Another alternative is using the remote copy SCC9.

Best approach depends a bit on your client size.

Make sure there are NO DDIC differences between source & target.

If you need to copy an existing system, including client independent objects, the client copy tools are not sufficient and you'll need to perform a heterogenous migration (aka OSDB Migration).
