We have a requirement where there is need to have a common store for DIGITS and DIGITS plants at Sarigam.
For many common items like
bolt, nuts, gas cylinder, cutting wheel, emery paper, fuses, connectors, pneumatic tube and fittings, bearings etc.. we need to maintain a common inventory and whenever need arises consumption to be booked to the respective unit(PM-1 or PM-2). We need to make a system for the same.
Currently whatever standard items are available in PM-1 and if we need for PM-2 then we need to make an STO PO, transfer the stock and then book consumption. This process is tedious and time consuming and also, we cannot maintain separate inventories for common items in future. Hence needs to setup procedure for store dept
Also, suppose the material was purchased in DIGITS plant and consumed in DIGITS plant then the same quantity of material will be required in DIGITS plant, as the demander needed the material for the DIGITS plant. When the demander comes to issue the material at that time material will be not be available.
So at the time of transfer activity the consumer should be responsible for raise the PR in the DIGITS plant so that there is no problem with the working of the DIGITS plant.
