In the Service Management Overview app, there are many analytical KPIs included related to service orders and service contracts. One of the most important KPI report is the "Service Contract Analysis" which reflects the overall profitability of a service contract.
This report shows the overall contract value, revenue generated from the service contract and the costs accumulated related with the call-off service confirmations related with the service contract. When we have created custom configurations specific to business requirements coming from different client engagements, some of the important settings are missed out and this causes issues with the values correctly reflected in this report.
Issue Description: The service contract analysis report was not displaying any revenue or costs related to specific service contract. Even though it had related revenues and costs related to the service contract.
Revenue - The value of the billing request item, after it was invoiced and posted to accounting.
Costs - The actual costs posted from the service confirmation linked with the service contract after it was set to "Completed", and the actual costs posted to the internal order.
Profit Margin - Its just the simple calculation of Revenue - Costs.
