Hi,

Please delete the earlier Idoc and reimport.

Try using the same user Id that you used for IDX2.

Hi Vijaya,

I have deleted and re imported but the same old idoc only imported.

When I'm importing idoc into Xi i should use SAP systems user-id right? If i use IDX" userid it gvae error 'Invalid User/Password Combination'.

Thanks ,

venu.

Hi Venu,

Do the following,

1. Cleaer your SLD

2. Import the extneded iIDOC into XI under Imported Objects.

3. Delete entries in IDX2.

4. When you run your Interfaces, XI will import the new IDOC Metadata by itself . you do not have to do it manually.

Hi Bavesh,

Thank u. I'm able to import the modified idoc after attaching the standard function module.

But according my knowledge this function module also need to be changed to process new segemnt created right?

Otherwise I'm expecting generated Idoc will fail in SAP-ISU system.

One more doubt:

I'm working on File to Idoc scenario.File contains lots of information..I should ignore some records in file , Is it possible when reading the file it self instead of mapping.

Thanks ,

Venu,

<i>But according my knowledge this function module also need to be changed to process new segemnt created right?</i>

If the function odule i sdealing with the standard idoc and you need it to process the extended idoc, then yes, it needs to be changed correspondingly.

<i>I'm working on File to Idoc scenario.File contains lots of information..I should ignore some records in file , Is it possible when reading the file it self instead of mapping.</i>

No, this i snot possible. And, Ido not see this as a real issue as while doing the apping fro the source to target , you can just ignore these unweanted fields by not using the in the apping.

HI Venu,

Regd. new segment etc, (In addition to other reolplies)just check all the new segments released in SAP application systems(ISU)

<i>I'm working on File to Idoc scenario.File contains lots of information..I should ignore some records in file , Is it possible when reading the file it self instead of mapping.</i>

--I think this is prefer to do in the Module Processor, so that unwanted records will not reach Mapping at all.

-- One more hint-DO you mean entire record or some fields ?

If it is entire record, then you can try like this, if you have file content conversion, then try to give some dummy key values for which you need to ignore the records..If so , if there is a mismatch in the keyvalue in the content conversion, then it will not pick that records.. Just have a try ..
