Hello SAP community,
I need your advice to choose between SAP RAP and oDATA+ CAP with Node.js for a "Side by Side" situation.
Here's the deal: I have to make tables and applications with special checks and rules to meet a customer's needs. This customer already uses S4 Hana on-premise and has a SAP BTP subscription.
But, here's the twist: the customer wants to stick to on-premise data storage. That means I'm looking to make tables in the existing S4 Hana on-premise system.
Now, the question is: with an on-premise database, should I use RAP + Fiori, or go for something simpler in S4 Hana on-premise ( crud api end point ) and choose CAP with node.js?
Consider this: We have skilled ABAPers and UI5 developers who know CAP and node.js well.
