Cannot change an S-user password associated with Universal ID

I am a consultant and have set up my consultant P-user as my Universal ID. I have a company S-User account added to my Universal ID that is also used as a login to BTP at the company. I need to change the password of the S-User account as that is required to make a connection from SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud Connector subaccount to BTP subaccount, according to the Cloud Connector Documentation.

when I attempt to change the S-User Password through https://account.sap.com/manage/accounts, I get a popup error with the text 'Failed to reset password for account S002....'.

Any suggestions as to how to get around this issue?
