Partner determination - BP Group Hierarchy

Hi Experts,

I am trying to determine the Partner functions from the BP Group hierarchy, which are upper nodes of the Sold to party.

I have defined the Partner functions, defined access sequence with Source as Sold to Party (CRM), defined Procedure and assigned to the txn type.

When I create a document, though the Defined Partner functions from the hierarchy appear in the document, but instead of the BP numbers, I get the top most node of the Hierarchy and its description.

Why am I not getting the BP respective nodes which are getting determined?

Could anyone bail me out?

We are on CRM 4.0.

thanks

Yash

    Hi Experts,

Even after lot of reading and permutations and combinations, I could not get the BP nodes in my partner determination. Hence, thought of reposting the same issue.

I am still getting the Pricing Hierarchy description determined in the Sales document.

    Any suggestions would help immensly.

Is it standard that I should get the BP nodes (parent to Sold to), should appear in Partner determination?

Or shall I go and write the specific code in BADI and put the same in my access sequence to achieve the desired result?

    thanks

    Yash
