GB Payroll- function GRSUP

can anyone explain in detail how function GRSUP works in the payroll program for GB Payroll ?

Why do we maintain T541A and T541N?

As a trial , maintained a copy of wage type M350 in IT 15 and tried to understand how schema processing this wage type, but couldn't comprehend. Pls explain in detail

    Hi Neetu,

    Might be a late respond but hope it is helpful. The function GRSUP is used to get the guaranteed net amount.

    For example, an organization is promising to give 1000 £ Net pay as Location allowance, which means the 1000£ will not be taxed to the employee and bare by the employer.

    Lets say, the Location allowance is 1000 £ and tax for that is 50 £.

    The HR use to maintain the value 1000£ in WT given in T541N either in IT14 or IT15 copied based on the model wage type. The payroll program consider the wage type as a free of tax WT and calculate the amount taxed for the WT and gross up the payment using /F04 WT.

    It means the amount which is taxed for the WT is grossed up again to receive the net pay.
