Web Based Look for Portal Users

Hello,

We have a external facing portal. I am trying to design a look and feel for the portal like a website instead of a portal. (Like shortening the URL length, which generally is extermely long in the portal and essentailly making it look web like).

I understand that SAP EP has some features that help you achieve this. Is there a theme or something else....

Could someone please point me to how this can be achieved?
