Issue :Import Hierarchies into DataStore BODS

We are trying to use hierarchie as a data source in sap bods datastore. In the earlier time, I tried to import by name, but it gave me error message which looks as screenshot 1. And then I open the workspace of datastore, click on 'external metadata' and 'Hierarchies'. tried to import from there. However, it's nothing happend. After click on 'import', could not find it from the list of 'Hierarchies' of Data Store. Checked some resource online, one user who has similar issue but no solution provided. Also, someone suggested to check on the DS function. Not sure which particular function he mentioned. We are using BODS 4.2 sp5. We have no isse to import ODP /table/function from the Datastore. Just for the hierarchies source, there is no way to import.

Can you please ask your SAP Security Team to Apply a trace on the BODS user when you try to import ERP hierarchies. This will help them to check which Authorizations are missing for importing hierarchies in Data Services.

***Dont provide SAP_ALL authorization to the BODS user. This will cause an issue when you later on move to Acceptance and Production Environments.

Once the missing Authorizations are determined, ask SAP Security team to provide necessary Authorizations.

I have never worked on hierarchies, but found a useful information in SAP Supplement Guide. Hope this is useful

Just checked with security, we already applied the above authorization. From the trace, everything looks fine. Would you have any other idea on this?

Thats strange. Can you please check if the hierarchies actually exists in SAP system. Looks like there is some issue with the code

Thanks for your suggestions. I would ask the security team to apply a trace for the first and then decide on next action
