How to set upper and lower control limits of linked MIC to class characteristics, per material?

Hi gurus,

My client has the following requisites:

  • Perform multiple analysis to an inspection lot where the time, date and name of the analyst are recorded
  • The mean value of the characteristic inspection values recorded are transferred to the production batch
  • MICs must be limited by upper and lower control limits per material

I’ve linked the created MICs to class characteristics in order to transfer the results to the production batch.

I’ve already created an inspection point which records the date, time and name of the analyst performing the result recording. Although this achieves the client’s purpose, through its activation the transfer of the mean value of registered characteristics to the production batch isn’t working. Only the lastest result recorded is transferred.

Can you please help me solving this situation?

Maintain the upper and lower specs in the material master in the classifcation view, 023 class.

Those results should transfer down.

For inspection points, only the most recent value is transferred when using 04 lots. Only 03 lots are capable of transferring the mean value. However you might want to look at note 2237411. This might possibly help you with that but I haven't installed it myself so I can't promise anything.
