My objective is to display the PARTNER tab on the WBS. I have done the following configuration but the PARTNER tab is not displayed
1.Defined the partner role in T-Code: OPSPAR1 as "SP"
2.Assigned the Partner Functions to the Schema via T-Code: OPSPAR3.
3. Ensured that the layout Tab for the Partner is enabled in view V_TCSCR_PSP
4 Ensured that field selection option for the Partner Determination is active in T-Code: OPUJ
5. In transaction OPSA added the PARTnDET.Proc as "SP" to the Project Profile in Control tab
After completing all this config, the PARTNER tab does not appear.....am I missing a step?Thank youHi David,
The Partner Determination Procedure is a collection of Partner Roles that you would like to become available for a specific object.
The customer name space would normally start with either Z or Y to avoid a standard warning message.
For example ZWBS can be created as a Partner Determination Procedure, where inside it (as a container) you can have multiple partner roles being enabled, where SP is one of the Standard options.
You can assign the Partner Determination Procedure as default value to the Project Profile and the Partner tab will be available in the master data for both PD and WBS, unless you manipulate with a tab layout customizing.
So, you always deal with the Procedure and not with a Function or Partner role (same thing) in customizing, while a Partner Role(s) and its value(s) you will assign on the Partner tab in the master data.
What is the name of your Partner Determination Procedure?

Paulo

Hi David,
Please try with a newly created master data as these settings have no retrospective effect.

Hello Paulo, Thank you for your reply. Using transaction OPUJ, I made the radio button for PARTNERDETERINATION inactive. This allowed me to populate the project since that field was expecting to be populated with a value and the value that I used was "SP" but it would not accept that value nor gave me any clue as to what value it would accept.. To set up partner determination I followed the procedures below
Hope you can shed some light on the the procedure to "Define Partner DEtermination Procedures and Partner roles"

Hi David,
Are you confusing a partner Role with a Partner Determination Procedure or you named both as SP?
This is likely a missing customizing or misunderstanding on your part, suggest to click on View details for the long text where you often have a customizing link or a Procedure section to guide you.
Can you show a screen for your Partner Determination Procedure setup?
Thanks,
Paulo
