Can I know, how to configure SAP system to prevent the creation of normal OPEX PRs for materials with unit values exceeding USD 75K. If it exceeds this, it should be processed with Capex PR. This configuration can be applied to all materials, both existing and new creations.

Hi,

As per my knowledge, there is no such direct option in standard. However, you may check the below options:

1. Activate release strategy for the PR at item level with account assignment and PR value as characteristics. With this, you may trigger a release strategy if the value is more than the limit (75K in your example). You may control the release authorization via roles and prevent the release, which will ultimately force the user to correct the practice.

2. Validate the value at the time of PR creation using BAdI: ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST
