Customize SAP Companion for Web appearance in SAP Enable Now

Hello all,

I would like to customize the SAP Companion for Web appearance according to the guidelines of my company (I have already succeeded to customize the SAP Companion for Desktop).

Is this UI corresponding to the UI named "SAP Companion" in Tools/Customization/Edit Style Resources in the Producer?

If yes, where the corresponding parameters should be enabled in the settings?

Hi emmanuel_j,

To customize the SAP Companion for Web (ex., Web Assistant) UI theme, you can just use the parameters from the SAP Companion Integration Guide. They are on the page: Customizing the SAP Companion UI.

You need to add them to the existing SAP Companion configuration in the target application, i.e. S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.

My SEN seems to have been integrated with S/4 HANA on Premise and works with FIORI apps.

Unfortunately, I didn't participate to the technical deployment, so I don't know where this configuration can be added.

Can these parameters can be filled in the settings of the Manager interface ?

No, they can't be in Manager when you have SAP Companion in S/4HANA.

You can try adding them to the S/4HANA URL with a "help-" prefix to check how your new SAP Companion theme will look, but in the end, all your parameters must be appended to the existing ones in SAP Companion for S/4HANA.

P.S. SAP Companion configuration could be found in the /n/ui2/flp_cus_conf transaction.
