I am creating quantitative master inspection characteristic. The MIC does not have any limit or target value. I want to just record the inspected result in the system. In order to serve my purpose, how do I have to create the MIC?
You can create the MIC as quantitative and leave the limits fields empty (not checked) in the control indicators. Note you could specify the Unit of Measure (e.g. M), results confirmation (single or summarized) and possibly sample procedure requirement in the MIC.
