SAP Plant Maintenance - Maintenance Order Operation - Handling different Unit of Measurement

Hi,

In our company External Labor are used for Maintenance activities. Maintenance activities are tracked with different unit of measurement.

With Plant Maintenance perspective we need to track this activity on daily basis, so we planned to create Maintenance Orders for Technical objects and the activities done are captured through operations.
Here the Operations handled by the External Labor are accounted on based on the different Unit of measurement. For example; AUT(Activity Unit), NOS(Numbers), TUN(Ton), INH(Inch). These Unit of Measurement is created through CUNI[tcode] under TIME dimension.

Issue: Here, as we handle many different operations in Maintenance Order which has different Unit of measurement. Presently, we need to populate the Unit of measurement manually for all the Operations and chances for User to perform mistakes.

Is there a possibility that UOM for Order Operations for Work & Duration can be defaulted from Activity type or some other means, which will be helpful for us to handle the scenario in a better manner.
