How to integrate RFID in SAP BYD.

Good day everyone. Can anyone guide me towards the integration of RFID in SAP BYD. Will this require an external vendor. I mean i know the hardware will have to be purchased but I am guessing the module must have been built in in SAP and only the data captured need to be populated within the module, correct?
